ZEST is an innovative start-up company, established on 2 February 2012 by three partners who are passionate about green issues: Mauro Zamarian, born 1974, engineer; Chiara Davanzo, born 1979, and Marilena Antonini, born 1982, both marketing and communication specialists. Together with us operates a network of highly specialized researchers, architects, designers, agronomists, physicists and scientists, that have a strong commitment to Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Promotion of Landscapes.
Co-founder and CEO of ZEST, Mauro holds a degree in Engineering Management with a Master in Multimedia Technologies and has experience as project manager for Discovery Channel and Sky TV. Together with his skills in the digital industry, he also has considerable expertise in low-carbon energies and energy saving solutions.
Since September 2010, he has worked in Lombardy, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto as an energy certifier and is an active member of the Cuccagna Project, initiative aiming to restore the Cascina della Cuccagna (a seventeenth-century farmhouse) in Milan. He is also a member of Engineers Without Borders and of the Energy and Strategy Group – School of Management at the Politecnico di Milano.
His areas of specialisation include:
- Design and creation of green roofs: urban redevelopment tool;
- Zero-Energy Buildings;
- Energy saving – use of renewable sources.
He regularly holds courses and seminars on themes related to environmental sustainability, energy and land redevelopment.
Chiara is a founding partner of ZEST, where she focuses in marketing, advertising (traditional and unconventional), digital marketing and customer relationship management.
She has worked as a marketing and advertising manager for Borbonese and Stefanel, and previously for ECRM Italia, Claim Lab and Geox. Since 2009 she has worked with IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) as Brand Management lecturer for the Master’s course on Fashion Marketing. In 2011 she contributed to the book Oltre il CRM (Beyond CRM) edited by Michela Ornati and published by FrancoAngeli Editore. She is also a regular speaker on courses and at conferences dedicated to marketing and CRM issues.
At ZEST she deals mainly with projects relating to the promotion of landscapes through environmental redevelopment. She also deals with marketing and commercial development.
Marilena is a founding partner of ZEST, where she focuses on web and mobile marketing, CRM and loyalty management.
She has worked as marketing manager for Stefanel and previously for NextMedia Lab, the Fincantieri network and MIB School of Management. Since 2007 she has worked alongside the University of Trieste on research and intervention projects related to the marketing and e-business fields. In 2011 she contributed to the book e.CRM Tutta la verità (e.CRM The Whole Truth) published by FrancoAngeli Editore and she is the author of worldmktg.blogspot.com.
In 2010 she successfully took part in the first edition of the competition Il più bel lavoro del mondo (The Best Job in the World), promoted by the Make a Change association, where she presented the Help in città (Help in the City) project.
At ZEST she mainly deals with projects connected to the promotion of landscapes and informed use of resources. She also deals with marketing and web strategy.
