ZEST is a start-up company with a strong commitment to sustainability, social development, ecology and the environment. We think of ourselves as an eco-friendly lab, a community for green living ideas. What really matters for us is to improve the quality of life on a “glocal” (global and local) scale.
The idea of ZEST as a laboratory for eco-friendly ideas started in September 2011, when it received an honourable mention for best business idea from Assolombarda as part of the 2011 competition entitled Dall’Idea all’Impresa (From an Idea to Business).

- In November 2012, ZEST is invited to Triennale in Milan to present GreenbO2x, nominated Best Eco Project by Material ConneXion;
- In September 2012, ZEST is invited to Trieste Next to present the project FreeAirBaby;
In June 2012, ZEST wins the regional selection for the award Il Talento delle Idee (The Talent of Ideas) by Confindustria and Unicredit;
In May 2012, ZEST receives a honourable mention by Corriere della Sera and Nordesteuropa in the context of Premio Città Impresa (City Enterprize Price), an award to honour those companies, institutions and not-for-profit organizations based in the north-east of Italy and which promote innovative ideas and contribute to Italy’s development;
In September 2011, ZEST won the national award Dall’Idea all’Impresa (From Idea to Business) by GGI Assolombarda, Milano Metropoli, BIC La Fucina, Consiglio Notarile di Milano, Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili di Milano.
Moreover, ZEST adheres to the Charter for Sustainability, a manifesto by Confindustria that promotes the shared values and actions needed for a gradual progress towards greater environmental sustainability, outlining realistic and achievable goals for Italian companies.
